Every Cal Flame island, fireplace, and fire pit is built to order, which means the finish is yours to choose. Pick a countertop and a base finish and the unit is built that way at the factory in Pomona, California.
There are two tiers. Standard finishes are included in the listed price. Premium finishes carry an upcharge. Everything below is available on any built-to-order unit unless the product page says otherwise.
How to order a finish: choose your combination, then reach us at dustin@feastandfireco.com or 405-362-2626 before or right after you order and we will lock it into the build. If you order without specifying, we will contact you before anything goes into production. Nothing gets built until you have confirmed the finish.
Countertops
Standard Porcelain Tile
Included at no additional cost. Porcelain handles heat and sharp blades, resists staining, and shrugs off weather. Tile is 12 x 24, available in single and two-tone layouts with a field and a border.

Premium Natural Granite Tile
Priced upgrade. Every slab is different, so no two countertops come out identical. Granite brings depth and movement that porcelain cannot fake.

Base finishes
Standard Stucco
Included at no additional cost. Omega Flex is a durable acrylic architectural finish that will not crack, peel, or flake the way plaster-based products do.

Premium Ameristone Stucco
Priced upgrade. Ameristone is a 100 percent acrylic architectural finish with more depth and texture than the standard line, and the same long-term durability with minimal maintenance.

Premium Cultured Stone
Priced upgrade. Cultured stone veneer gives an outdoor kitchen the permanence of real masonry. This is the finish that makes a unit look like it was built into the patio rather than delivered to it.

Fireplaces only
Premium Bedrock Mantel
Priced upgrade, available on outdoor fireplaces. Bedrock is the mantel and hearth stone finish.

A few things worth knowing
- Finishes differ by series. Patio series islands, meaning the Kauai Q, Kona Q, and Maui Q, are built with Elite cabinet siding rather than stucco. Countertop tile choices still apply.
- Colors on a screen are not colors in a yard. These images are accurate but every monitor lies a little, and natural stone varies slab to slab. If you are matching existing hardscape, call us and we will get you closer.
- Fire glass is separate. Fireplaces and fire pits can swap lava rock for reflective fire glass in six colors. That option lives on each product page.
- All sales are final because every unit is built to your specification. Take your time choosing, and call if you want a second opinion. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.
